Who can register a .eu domain?
- Undertakings having their registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European Community;
- Organisations established within the European Community without prejudice to the application of national law;
- Natural persons resident within the European Community
If you are located outside of the European Community but would like a .eu domain, please contact us for assistance. We can refer you to a company registration in a jurisdiction such as the UK to give you a European corporate presence, which will then make you legitimately eligible for .eu.
We strongly discourage registration via "agents" who obtain domains for you in their own name, since these are clear breaches of .eu policy and have a high likelihood of you losing rights in the name.
